Armor question
My elementalist originally used pyromancers armor.. however when anet fixed all armor so that they accept insignias I switched the pyromancers insignia for blessed (+10al whdn enchanted). Since I am pretty much always enchanted this seems like a great idea. Now for my question.. should I keep the blessed insignias or should I change them for survivor insignias?
I know that radiant would be pointless... I have enough energy and adding 8 seems to be a waste. I have been playing elementalist since Factions was released so I have quite a bit of experience. I am simply interested in seing what you guys have to say about this. If you other recommendations, go ahead an tell me |

Personally I prefer the blessed - often a life saver when you draw heavy aggro! But that's just one man's opinion!

Personally, I would stick to the Blessed insignias. If you're always enchanted and find yourself under fire, the extra armor will do more for you than the extra health

I would go with the Survivors myself. You should already have enough armor to survive 3 or 4 attacks from most enemies. This gives you enough time to either kill it or run/skate. On the other hand, the lower you health is, the more degen will affect you. The extra health makes it easier to survive until healed.
Edit - almost forgot - the extra armor doesn't help against armor ignoring damage. But I see the pros and cons either way. A lot of it probably depends on your playstyle or party make-up. Try them both out - it doesn't cost that much really. BTW, are you talking PvE or PvP? Last edited by Quaker; Jan 15, 2008 at 09:47 PM // 21:47.. |

Thx for the inputs guys. I'm gonna put survivor on one set and keep blessed on one set and see which I prefer.
@Quaker: I use my ele for both PvE and PvP.. however I don't play HA or GvG anymore so PvP would be limited to TA, RA, and AB. |
